After suffering weeks of onshore winds here in Jersey, Jetty Team Rider Sam Seeland & I decided enough was enough, and that it was time to head else where in search of good surf. When swell models started to show significant size for Hurricane Joaquin up in Rhode Island we figured it was time to pay a visit to our old Alma mater. After arriving in Providence, RI late Saturday night, and meeting with good friend Jesse "Chip" Fitzmaurice, we awoke Sunday morning to find a much smaller forecast than what we had originally planned for. Nonetheless, Rhode Island, in all of her beauty, still produced some fun surf, encounters with old friends, and good times. Here are a few shots that I took throughout their trip...
