Ambassadors

Rob Kelly

Ocean City’s Rob Kelly is nothing short of a surf hero. His heroics in heavy winter swells, support of East Coast surf culture, competitive prowess, and ability to engage with people around the world have made him New Jersey’s most high-profile surfer and an ideal ambassador of the Draw Your Own Line ethos. @robkellysurf

Randy Townsend

“Randal” climbed the East Coast ranks in the 90s with a consistent, every-polished attack. 30 years later, his surfing is as quick and technical as ever. He grew up with the Jetty founders and has been flying the flag for 15 years while steering the next generation of watermen and women as a surf coach and Captain of the Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol. @whereisrandal

Sean Pearson

Pearson holds nothing back. The son of California shaper Dave Pearson, Sean decided to forgo chasing pro contest points for a life of better waves. Today, he is a full-time surf guide in Nicaragua, sharing his love of the black sand beaches while putting himself inside and above countless tropical peelers.
@seanicaragua

Darren Muschett

Nothing but smooth. Born and raised in Rincon, Puerto Rico, Darren has always had impeccable style. From his days as a pro surfer, he has made a graceful transition to a rod-and-reel commercial fisherman angling on the Enchanted Isle where he lives the perfect Jetty balance between power surfing the reef breaks and chasing pelagic species.
@darrenmuschett

Dallas Tolson

Dallas has been representing Jetty on the Outer Banks since Duck Village Outfitters first started carrying the line. A hospitality manager, he roams the sandbars through the villages and National Park, one of the most watched rippers in Dare County, finding every barrel and air section in the shadow of his beloved Hatteras Lighthouse.
@dillydal252

Pete Machotka

Pete has literally been part of the Jetty family since he was a grom. An ace junior pro from Long Beach Island. Known for power turns and airs in any conditions, Machotka pursued a career in wastewater management and is surfing as radically as ever, while judging events and mentoring Jetty’s youngest team riders.

Logan Hayes

Florida man. Logan Hayes thrives between the dual worlds of Florida performance surfing and sportfishing. As a surfer, he commands respect among the best in the Sunshine state in the air or in the barrel. He has honed his angling skills on charter boats but knows his way around Florida’s freshwater as well.
@_logan_hayes_

Jamie DeWitt

Hometown girl. As an amateur, Jamie was ranked among the top 16 in the world. But DeWitt recognized the realities of womens pro surfing and chose to surf on her own terms instead of pursuing the pro route. While maintaining a hospitality career, she won every major pro womens event on the East Coast. She is the beloved poster child of the Jetty Coquina Jam, runs her own surf school and is a model for young women everywhere.
@jdsurf4e

Ryan Leopold

VB and the Banks. Leopold holds it down for Jetty and Real Watersports on the Outer Banks, where he test drives the inventory of shop boards. In addition to finding those Carolina blue gems, Leopold is constantly back and forth between land and sea, threading tubes, spearfishing, and hunting.
@geeples

James Contreras

When James Contreras was coming up, he represented a new generation of kids who were going to ride longboards in the classic style, soaking up everything previous generations laid down to keep the culture alive. One of the most decorated log riders ever in the Mid-Atlantic, he patrols the jetties on either side of the Manasquan River.
@james_contreras23

Mark Gilmartin

Steadfast in the heaviest of conditions. During the summer, Gilmartin is up to his elbows in surf lessons at the four locations of his Summertime Surf Camp in New Jersey. But when the temperatures drop and the buoys spike, he’s stroking against those hard offshore winds into New Jersey winter maneaters or traveling to critical waves around the world.
@gilly732

Curtis Perdue

Approaching a wave as creatively as a James Joyce poem with a life as interesting as a Vonnegut novel. Curtis is a high school literature teacher who has some of the best flow in Rhody. Most often found on a classic log, he is a fixture throughout the reef breaks of New England, spending most sessions perched on the nose.
@purtiscerdue

Mia Gallagher

Positive and pushing it. A New Jersey girl attending University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Mia Gallagher balances school and surfing. Gallagher was unstoppable in the amateur ranks. Now studying for her business degree and doing a handful of pro junior events, she is an NSSA collegiate title holder.
@miagallaghersurf

Michael Melega

Melega is from the same shores as Jetty but travels the hemisphere competing in the most colorful and prestigious longboard events, forever curious about different cultures. Swooping turns and scurrying to the nose and back, he is one of the most graceful in the game.
@melegasaurus

Pedro Fernandez

Pedro is renowned for both competitive and free surfing. A gifted aerialist, he has represented his beloved Dominican Republic in international competitions and is known for promoting the sport as well as environmental advocacy in the Caribbean and environmental advocacy. His life has always been centered around the ocean, either riding waves or painting them.
@pedro_fernandez

Brendan Tighe

The consummate charger. Tighe cruises Northern Ocean and Monmouth Counties’ breaks to quell his heavy water hunger, a perennial standout on the beefiest of Mid-Atlantic swells. East Coasters have long admired his daring barrel riding. Tighe, a real estate agent, is passionate about community and an intense waterman.
