ARBOR DAY: Mike Kossove, former teacher of the year in the Stafford Twp. school system, put together something great for the kids today. Mike planned well ahead so every child in the school system received a Jetty-printed Earth/Arbor Day T-shirt in exchange for their environmental commitments. The T-shirt was a product of a student design contest! Today, amongst many indoor and outdoor activities, the kid's main task was simply to plant trees! Cheers to Mike and the rest of the teachers @ Stafford for educating 600+ children on the importance of our environment! EARTH DAY: Saturday, April 30th is the ALO's Annual Long Beach Island beach clean-up! We have designed, printed and contributed to the Alliance for a Living Ocean's Earth Day T-shirts for 3 years in a row now! This year the ALO has joined forces with the Long Beach Island Business Alliance's "Green up, Clean up" effort. If you are on LBI, or anywhere for that matter, grab a bag and pick up some trash...every helping hand goes a long way in keeping our beaches clean! Check out the event information here.
