"Portland" by Rat Kid Cool

There's not a ton of info out there on Ciaran O'Donnell, former touring member of The Front Bottoms, but he just dropped some new music and we love it!  Check out Portland, one of two new songs aptly named for the The Pine Tree State where it seems like O'Donnell is spending his time.  This one is a Summer anthem for us - where will your dance floor be at?!   Read More...

"Future Peg" by Man Man

Man Man has had a long cast of members, but the experimental band has always revolved around Ryan Kattner and his piano.  Honus Honus (Kattner's stage name) comes back on May 1 with Dream Hunting in the Valley of the In-Between, Man Man's first proper released since 2013's On Oni Pond.  Check out Future Peg as we look forward to the rest of what is sure to be a super creative album! "Karen" by Surfer Blood

Surfer Blood is a band that we have always followed since their classic debut Astro Coast back in 2010.  We enjoyed their Covers album last year, but are really excited for some brand new music.  We missed them by a day passing through DE last Summer at Dogfish Head, and we even considered them for our now (unfortunately) cancelled 7th Annual HopSauce Festival.  Check out Karen from Carefree Theatre dropping next month!   Read More...

"Deep Dream" by STRFKR

Portland (OR) based STRFKR are back with a new full-length album, Future Past Life.  The video for the single Deep Dream offers a cinematic approach as well as a snowy wilderness that can't help, but reinforce the word quarantine.  Starfucker's origin revolves around a lot of celebrity and industry BS that they never wanted to be a part of, something for us all to think about as we throw around the phrase getting back to normal (after COVID-19)...  Read More...

"Texas Sun" by Khruangbin & Leon Bridges

After touring together in 2018, Khruangbin and Leon Bridges, respectively from Houston and Fort Worth, have teamed up for a 4 song EP called Texas Sun.  The worldly influences of Khruangbin match rather perfectly with Bridges' throwback, soulful sound.  This is music to chill and reflect to... "We Have To Move On" by Inhaler

You can say that Elijah Hewson has a bit of a head start being Bono's son, but Inhaler has already proved to be a breakout band from Dublin.  Yet to drop a full-length, but being streamed like crazy and touring worldwide, you can bet that they will be around for a while!  Check out their latest single We Have To Move On...       Read More...

"Cars In Space" by Rolling Blackouts C.F.

Today we're featuring a new single by Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever!  The guitar-driven band has been on the move since releasing their debut full-length in 2018, but lucky for us has found some time to make new music as well.  Enjoy Cars In Space, another great tune from the Land Down Under!    Read More...

"Mr. Al" by SUO

Saara Untract-Oakner has been making music and traveling the world for years, even stopping by some Jetty events along the way.  After a successful run with BOYTOY, she recently debuted a solo album that stands firm within her musical and creative pedigree.  It's no surprise that you can find her in plenty of Dancing Spots and Dungeons, currently across Europe while on tour.  We hope she and/or Mr. Al swing through again soon...     Read More...

"Dance Of The Clairvoyants" by Pearl Jam

It was July of 2013 when we last featured Pearl Jam's Mind Your Manners, now they're back with 12 new tracks!  The legendary group will kick off a North American Tour this March which wraps up in April before they hit Europe during Summer.  So far Dance Of The Clairvoyants is the first single to be released from the upcoming Gigaton and by the sound of it we're on the edge of our seats anxious to hear the rest of the album! "Camouflage" by The Front Bottoms

The Front Bottoms have done it all over the past 10+ years, from playing massive festivals, to touring, to creating a pile of studio albums, EP's and videos.  Sharing some of our own Bergen County (NJ) roots, we take great pleasure in supporting this band whom definitely shares our Draw Your Own Line mentality.  At the end of 2019, they dropped Camouflage, and after some time off for reflection it looks like they are working on another album!   Read More...

"Exoskeleton" by Dan Luke and the Raid

Dan Luke and the Raid's debut album, Out of the Blue, was released just months after the tragic death of guitarist Dylan T. Graves.  Graves and other band members do landscaping in the Bowling Green (KY) area when not on the road.  The shocking lawnmower accident left the band with a tough decision, but moving forward and loving their music is what Graves would have wanted.  The band does have some guidance as frontman Daniel Schultz is the younger brother of Bradley and Matt Schultz (Cage the Elephant).  Check out Exoskeleton which was filmed in Graves' hometown of Franklin (KY)... "Rusty Nail" by Peter Bjorn and John

One of the most memorable songs from the early years of Jetty is Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John.  They recently announced an American tour as part of their 20th anniversary as well as the March '20 release of their 9th studio album Endless Dream.  Although we're still a few months away from the aforementioned, we do have a typically infectious single to enjoy in the meantime with Rusty Nail!   Read More...

"Already There" by Bombargo

This week we're featuring a 7-man band from Saskatchewan, Canada by the name of Bombargo!  Maybe you heard of these guys when Taylor Swift added their song Mr. No Good to her Spotify playlist, but we've stumbled upon them more organically in search of sounds for our next HopSauce Festival (slated for 5/30/20).  The guys haven't dropped a full length album since 2017, but have released a bunch of singles including their most recent Already There - enjoy!     Read More...

"Wait" by The Commonheart

The Commonheart dropped their second album Pressure this past August, wrapped up their headlining Fall tour and are keeping things lively this month down in Florida.  The 10 person band reigning from Pittsburgh is led by frontman Clinton Clegg and there's no doubt that the sound is explosive and soulful.  Bursting onto the scene in 2016, this is one of those groups that we suggest you make it a point to seek out and see live! "High Steppin'" by The Avett Brothers

This week we're heading back East to feature The Avett Brothers!  The NC-based Americana band are no strangers to most with 10 studio albums, a spot in the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and top notch production by the likes of Rick Rubin.  Enjoy the video for High Steppin' and check out their latest album, Closer Than Together, which dropped last month.   Read More...

"Disco Queen" by Tropa Magica

This week we're staying on the left coast and featuring Tropa Magica!  Although Disco Queen is not their most recent single (check out Chunti Party), it will bait you into their self-titled, debut album from 2018.  Brothers David and Rene Pacheco have reinvented their band Thee Commons which was known for high energy shows, dancers and maybe even a clown or someone dressed up in a gorilla suit!  We're eagerly awaiting their second album and hope you enjoy their Tropical-Punk from East LA, with a splash of Cumbia and Psychedelia! "You're Different" by The Shelters

This week we're traveling cross country to bring you some SoCal vibes via The Shelters!  They released their Sophmore effort back in September, Jupiter Sidecar, and although it has a super talented roster from a production/mixing/engineering standpoint, it should be noted that the legendary Tom Petty had produced their debut album (The Shelters; 2016).  After Petty's tragic passing (October 2, 2017), the band strived to get back into the studio and grow.  Check out You're Different! "Claw's Up (Lobby Dom's Theme)" by Dillon

Lobsters typically thrive in shallow waters, but we had to dive deep to find Dillon Maurer aka Lobsterdamus!  The Lobby Dom has clearly drawn his own line from Michigan to Florida, and currently holds it down in the ATL where a brilliant blend of his chef and music skills are budding.  The Tails of Lobsterdamus is full of cooking references, clever analogies and some comedy too as Dillon reflects on life from our favorite crustacean's perspective.  Enjoy the video for Claw's Up (Lobby Dom's Theme), but be sure to listen to the entire album which really tickles our blue collar roots and love... "Shout" by The Vaughns

This week we're featuring Jersey natives The Vaughns!  We've heard reverberations of this 4-piece and wanted to travel back to this past Spring to feature their debut release, FOMO.  Check out the video for Shout and try to catch them on the tail end of their Fall tour if they happen to be cruising through your hood! "Everyone Hides" by Wilco

We're sure that fans of Chicago's Wilco were pleased to see an end to the group's performing hiatus as well as the release of their 11th studio album Ode to Joy!  Like so many bands, the members have changed over the years, but the current 6-piece has been together since the early/mid 2000's.  On the new album, they continue their long journey of twisting and turning through multiple genres.  Check out the upbeat video for Everyone Hides!
