Meet John Clifford, Creative Director and Partner at Jetty. John joined the crew back in 2009 after being introduced to Jerm through his uncle and quickly started working on a bunch of graphic design projects. When John is not working on designing the next line, you can find him on the south end of LBI catching waves. Check out his full interview below What are your day to day tasks? A million things to do with the overall business, brand messaging, and company direction, but my main role at Jetty is product development and design. How long have you been working at Jetty for? Almost 14 years. My first project was in May 2009! What's your favorite Jetty event and why? Tough one, but I love the recent Craft & Calling events. We've had some really cool musicians and panels come through, and I want to do more of those. What is a core work memory you have? When we moved into a "real" office at 509 in Manahawkin. What's your favorite piece of Jetty clothing? Acadia pants. They've replaced every single pair of pants in my closet. What can we find you snacking on at work? Is coffee a snack? What can we find you doing outside of work? Surfing or fishing in my backyard. Where can we find you on a nice Summer day? Surfing in Beach Haven What's your favorite travel spot outside of New Jersey? Costa Rica How do your Draw Your Own Line? Ultimately I hope that I've designed a life filled with hard (but satisfying) work that allows me to surf, fish, golf, travel, and spend time with family; and in turn all of those things inspire more hard work.
