Jacob Slater disbanded the Dead Pretties some time ago and is now back with Wunderhorse's debut Cub. It seems like Slater has matured quite a bit both musically and in general - this quote says it all: There’s the old myth that you need to take a load of drugs to be really creative, but I was much more creative when I wasn’t taking drugs.
