Georgia's Washed Out released his new album, Mister Mellow, back in June. Moving away from the sounds on his previous records, Ernest Greene has partnered with the rebellious beat-driven label Stones Throw as he continues to carve out a unique sonic identity that stands in direct opposition to most current trends. Mister Mellow is influenced by a number of genres including free jazz, house, hip-hop, and psych with a mix of voiceover samples to create a busy, chaotic, and caricaturish collection.
