Two nights ago Team Rider Chris Scarpinato said to me, let's go get a photo. After we skated the same, local mini-ramp we cruised to a rail Chris said he used to hit when he was 14! Scarp is all about missions. This isn't the craziest rail by any means, but with fresh ink, a brace on his wrist, a giant puddle impeding the runway and a terrible landing spot he still managed to land a quick front side board slide with me behind the lens. A couple janitors came out back and asked if we should use latex or oil when repainting the rail? We don't know, but offered to help. A cop rolled up, shined his spotlight and then rolled away without questioning us, I guess there's a first for everything...
