As a brand known for authenticity, we sometimes wonder where we exist in the ever-changing world of augmentation, virtual living, the metaverse, and straight up fake images.
For us, actual experiences, live events, original thinking, and personal connection will always be the true north. Jetty was established at a time before social media, smartphones, and AI. And we’re noticing that those in our world are longing for the days when authentic was everything, - magazines, three chord songs, worn out VHS tapes, power slides, handmade show flyers, and searching for empty barrels.
Ghost Frequency is a throwback to life before it was all “content,” tuning into a clear radio signal of authenticity that comes amid all the noise. In this case, it’s a voice from our culture’s collective past.
Ambassador Noah DeSimone embodies everything about that period – and takes a look at himself (and ourselves) circa the 90s. We are very excited about this video by Kevin Lapsley with footage from Joe Lediemer.
We are as excited about Noah’s future as he is in our past.
Surf footage by Joe Leidemer, song by our buds THIEV.
