It was not a September affair as it was in 2022 and 2023, but this year's Clam Jam was worth the wait! Sunday, October 20th was the right call and the LBI Region was blessed with morning offshores, warm weather, and plenty of swell. Randy Townsend & Matt Ward narrowly defeated Nick Rossi & Shane Evert in a final with challenging conditions. Townsend now has his name engraved on the trophy a whopping (8) times with six first place finishes and two runner ups. It was his first time winning the Jam since 2017 which is a nod to not only the team format of the contest, but also the competitiveness. The event is a fundraiser held In Loving Memory of Patrick Harrington and proceeds support scholarships in his name as well as "chemo swag bags" for cancer patients.
