We lost Patrick Harrington to Cancer the other day, a friend who will live on through all of us as we grieve and move forward. P-money embodied everything that we set out to do with Jetty and he was by far our biggest supporter from the very beginning. Nobody has more Jetty gear than Pat, has slapped more stickers or can say that they have attended more Jetty events. His love for surfing and the Long Beach Island surf community extended well beyond our little barrier island here in New Jersey. He made it to the Clam Jam finals in 2011 and seeing all of the tribute posts online truly shows how many people in our culture that he affected. His 18-month battle was the most inspiring part as he frequently stopped into our HQ, kept us updated and even made it up to the beach for the 14th Jam back in October. As a young man who had some underlying health issues, he drew his own line right past them and forged so many meaningful friendships. Navigate that big left tube brother. You will be so sorely missed. Obituary & Services Donations in lieu of flowers Jetty Rock Foundation & David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation
