This year we supported the Shamrocks for the Shore 5K which enabled us to donate $1,674.80 to the Life on the Edge Interpretive Trail. The new, educational trail is a part of The Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve (JC NERR) and exists on the Grassle Marsh. Our donation, thanks to the event sponsors and participating runners, allows for tree work along the trail and a bench on the raised boardwalk. The trail is an outdoor compliment to the Life on the Edge exhibit at the Tuckerton Seaport and supports teacher professional development, coastal decision-maker training, and family/public programs.
