With our 9th Annual Arctic Outreach fundraising event less than 2 weeks away, let's run through some frequently asked questions! What is Arctic Outreach?Arctic Outreach is a fundraising event that was created within a matter of weeks back in 2016. It was formed to support Mallory McBrien, a community member battling cancer, and her family. The event continues to run in her loving memory and all profits benefit the Jetty Rock Foundation (JRF). In turn, the JRF distributes donations to Mallory's children as well as other community members in need. The event runs from 11am to 6pm at Mud City Crab House. Why is Arctic Outreach outside, in February, in the freezing cold?Traditionally, we have not run any Q1 fundraisers, but in creating Arctic Outreach we realized that community members are in need on a year-round basis. The idea is that we can battle the elements for the day while others are facing much more serious issues. Bundle up and help us raise some money! Mud City & Old Causeway are very busy, where do we park?We have shuttles running from 10am to 7pm to move all of our supporters around! You can park at the Stafford Township Municipal Building, Stafford Recreation, or at Jetty. Park legally and drive safe! Is Arctic Outreach family-friendly?Yes! Aside from the live music entertainment, food, and drink, the event includes a Kid Corral with games/prizes as well as face-painting, a bounce house, and a petting zoo! How do I contribute to the fundraising?There is no entry fee for Arctic Outreach. We raise funds by selling tickets which can be used for food, drink, games, and our auction. Tickets are sold in $40 sheets. We accept cash and credit cards. Load up on tickets and have some fun! What if I cannot attend the event?If you aren't local to Stafford Township on February 24, 2024, then you can still support the cause by texting Arctic to 41444 or using the online donation form.
