In the wake of Hurricane Sandy many barrier island retailers were forced to pick up and relocate. In the Shack Board Shop's case, an extension of Surf Shack South, their new Manahawkin, NJ-based location will give them a mainland base for a permanent, year-round and full-service skate shop. It's been far too long that the Manahawkin area has not had any kind of skate shop and these guys want to help foster a thriving skate community again by offering the best hard goods, apparel, and accessories while hosting premieres, skate events, and the like.
