Check out this awesome ESM feature on Jetty Team Rider Dave Werner who teaches the "Science of Forecasting Waves" at Richard Stockton College. "It Takes a Weatherman" was written up by Jon Coen who housed Surfline's East Coast Forecaster Kurt Korte while he visited the Northeast just before Turkey Day. I had a chance to meet Kurt and personally thank him for assisting us each year in making the call for our Clam Jam (it's no easy task).
