Hip Hop heads consistently yearn for the best emcees to team up with the best producers. With Streams of Thought, Vol. 1, we get the ultra talented Black Thought (The Roots) over beats produced by 9th Wonder (Little Brother, Justus League). Although this is just an EP (it clocks in under 20 minutes), Black Thought's excellent lyricism and flow grace 9th's soulful loops and leave you wanting to taste more. Hopefully, the album's title is an indication that there is more to come. Check out Twofifteen which doesn't need a chorus and leaves no doubt that these guys are two of the best at what they do.
