This week we're featuring Welles! In June, he'll be releasing his highly anticipated debut album, Red Trees and White Trashes, via 300 Entertainment. The album’s lead single, Seventeen, which we're sharing today, was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Dave Cobb. The bulk of the album was written while Welles was living in a communal art compound in the college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas. His small-town beginnings helped shape his knack for penning tender, melodic and gut-punching rock music; although playing the underdog remains a highly appealing notion to the soft-spoken musician.
