"My Over, My Under" by State Champion

Most hometowns have a State Champion!  This week we're featuring Ryan Davis' band which released their 4th album just before the New Year.  The band members are somewhat scattered across a few states which feels normal to us as some of our crew is always on the move.  These guys have definitely survived and thrived on the DYOL mentality as well, forming the band 10 years ago in Chicago while in art school.  Based in Louisville, Davis runs the Sophmore Lounge label and also hosts a great festival in Cropped Out.  We get the feeling that this band enjoys being hard to categorize, it's what makes them fun and unique.  Check them out, and don't leave your fantasies on your pillow covers...
