Meet Hayley, our Summer Marketing Intern! Hayley started with us back in Summer of 2022. Her love for the shore made her want to come back and intern with the Marketing department. Hayley's vibrant personality and dedication to her work have made her an invaluable team member. When she's not at Jetty you can find her outdoors. Check out her full interview and Day in the Life video below. What are your day to day tasks? I work with Sandy, the Social Media Manager to go over tasks for the day, check the calendar to see what's coming up, and spent time with engagement on each of our social accounts. I help create new content ideas, read articles relating to social media promotion and marketing, and create action plans with Sandy! When did you start working at Jetty? I started at Jetty in the summer of 2022! I worked as an intern doing lots of different things at 176 and at the warehouse at 509. I also started in the flagship store last summer! I'm back this summer as the Marketing Intern! What's your favorite Jetty event? My favorite event from Jetty is Coquina Jam! I've been going ever since I was 15 years old and it has been one of my favorite events to go to! I love supporting a great cause and uplifting female athletes! Such a great way to support the community and the cause! What's your favorite piece of Jetty clothing? My favorite piece of Jetty clothing has gotta be my 2022 Qualified Captain t-shirt or my Priority Bicycle x Jetty Sweatshirt. Both are super comfy and I love sporting them when I go back to school! What can we find you snacking on at work? You can find me snacking on Smartfood Popcorn or hummus! What can we find you doing outside of work? Outside work you can find me going on runs, hanging with my family, or reading a good book, all outdoors! Coming to the beach each summer lets me have much more outdoor time and I'm so grateful to be on the coast! What's your favorite travel spot outside of New Jersey? My favorite travel spot is definitely Connecticut. My whole family is from up North and I love visiting them and going back home! Where can we find you on a nice Summer day? On a nice summer day you can find me sitting outside reading a book, listening to music, swimming, or hanging with friends! What is a core work memory you have? A core memory I have from work was all of our Thirsty Thursday kickbacks last year, specifically my last one! We had a great time eating good food, listening to good music, and playing games! It's really fun to hang out with people outside of the work environment! I've never bonded with a group of people as quickly as I did with the Jetty crew and I am thankful for them every day! They're all awesome! Do you have any pets? Yes! I have two English Bulldogs named Louie and Gunther! They're little old men trapped in dog bodies and they're both 10 years old! What are your top favorite music artists? My favorite music artists have gotta be Noah Kahan, Bad Suns, The Brook and the Bluff and Hippo Campus How do you Draw Your Own Line? I try to remember every day why I do what I do, who I do it for, and to constantly find ways to give back to those who may need it. At 21 years old I've lived many different lives and had so many impactful moments and experiences that continue to shape me into who I am today. I try new hobbies as often as possible, continue to learn every single day, and meet people who inspire me! I hope to continue living a life filled with good people, places and experiences.
