In 2013, Poor Old Shine recorded their self-titled, debut album, but soon after renamed their band to Parsonsfield. The group, which formed while the original members attended UConn, decided to move forward with the town where they recorded their first album (Parsonsfield, ME) as opposed to the lyrics from the traditional prison work song Ain’t No Cane on This Brazos (which they simply loved playing). Now onto their 4th studio album which dropped earlier in 2018, these guys are cruising right along with a little bit of folk, bluegrass, attitude and versatility (via trading instruments on stage)!
