INK Production Assistant

Join an experienced screen printing workshop as a Production Assistant for Jetty Ink! This is a fast paced role assisting in the everyday production of apparel at our production facility in Manahawkin, New Jersey. We’re looking for someone who is a quick learner and will thrive in a fast paced environment. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training that will provide opportunities for advancement as skills and experience increase.

Responsibilities:

● Unboxing, counting, and staging of garments for production.
● Stacking / folding printed garments with an eye on quality control.
● Assisting operators with setup and breakdown of the screen printing presses.
● Print shop cleaning and upkeep.
● Assisting with heat-pressing and screen printing processes.
● Collaborate with other production assistants to maximize customer satisfaction and streamline screen printing & apparel procedures.
● Work Jetty and Jetty Rock Foundation events.

Qualifications & Experience

● Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the role.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● Sharp attention to detail on production quality and standards.
● Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime.
● Ability to lift at least 20lbs or more on a consistent basis.
