Dan P. is Out There!

It is a pleasure to have the multi-talented Dan Przygocki in our HQ on a weekly basis!  Dan works production for Jetty Ink, but when the waves turn up, then we turn him loose.  This past week proved to produce some very pretty photos from the lens of a guy who is not afraid to get out there in the middle of Winter! A Few More Boards...

Above: Randy Townsend by Trevor Murphy Okay, one more flashback to first heavy swell of the cold season on the East Coast!  As Surfline's Slam Dunk Swell feature states, this wasn't the biggest swell, but it was pretty mean, and our Ambassadors definitely logged some for the memory bank.  Did you paddle?  Get slammed?  Break a board?  We've heard it all...on to the next (colder; bigger) one...! Avery and A Few More

Above: Dennis O'Connor by Tim Torchia Winter Storm Avery left the Northeast surf contingent frothing, and the content has been heavy ever since.  As blue collar aficionados, we tend to have multiple passions (options), but when the waves are punting, then we usually drop everything and paddle!  Our Ambassadors got rubber'd up and hit the Atlantic with their best these past couple of swells... The Life of Riley: Part IV

Above: Gaby enjoys a thinned out lineup due to the size (Photo: Bobby Bechtel) From the sub-sea level stuff that Jersey had going on, to the massive Caribbean, Winter Storm Riley wasn't just a one-time event as it produced a week of waves.  While plenty of schools and businesses closed on the East Coast, and PR still recovering from Hurricane Maria, Jetty Ambassadors  Gaby Canals and Sam Seeland had no complaints. Tubes All Around

Above: Jetty Ambassador Dave Werner by photog Tim Torchia Warm, mild, cold, or getting colder...we all just want to get shacked!  We've seen some extreme temps in the Northeast over the past couple of weeks, but it hasn't thwarted the hunt.  Elsewhere, in Florida and California, the name of the game and the task at hand remains the same (but those guys at least get to show a little more skin)! Frozen Sounds

Buxton locals are saying that they haven't seen the Sound side frozen out nearly a half mile since the 80's!  Our Ambassadors didn't let the conditions deter them from getting wet though.  Dallas Tolson nabbed a perfect tube (above) while Ryan Osmond braved the elements from behind the lens (hey, it takes two)!  Meanwhile, Ryan Leopold didn't shiver one bit while nailing this tricky sequence courtesy of Sarah Nascimento... It's not quite Winter, but...

Above: Dallas Tolson by 3SlidePhotos Although the first day of Winter isn't until December 21st, we're hearing a lot of "it's starting to feel like Winter" out in the line-up!  Winter (or just about) surfing certainly has different meanings depending on where you're paddling.  Check out some recent photos of our Ambassadors scoring, it's evident which one is in the coldest conditions, right?! The Worm Hole

Above: Jetty Ambassador Dave Werner New Jersey has waves?  C'mon, you've heard it while you were on vacation.  The web and social media have blown up over the past week with tons of content courtesy of Winter Storm Stella.  Here are a few photos from Dave Nilsen who not only bravely bobbed through the bombs, but went right back after it the following day on a strike mission to New England!  Jetty Ambassador Randy Townsend Jetty Ambassador Sam Seeland Read More...

Low Expectations

You usually hear a lot about those days that went off while you were at work, but what about when you're not at work and an unexpected swell fills in?!  Jetty Ambassador Pete Machotka was one of only a handful that weren't sitting home this week thinking that it was flat.  LBI underground ripper Shawn Casey took a short break and snapped this photo of Pete enjoying some Jersey solitude...and for good measure, here's a flashback of Shawn getting shacked on Superbowl Sunday! Helena: Tube Sounds & Beat Downs

Winter Storm Helena produced some heavy waves in the Northeast, and plenty of tubes up and down the East Coast!  ESM's Swell Gallery showcases a bunch of Jetty affiliates, namely Ambassador Pat Parenty who was picking off countless lefts over a frigid, 4-hour session.  Photog Timmy Torchia isn't afraid to get into the water, but even shooting from the beach was a tough task on this sub-zero day.  Check out his article Winter Storm Helena Takes Over in New Jersey via The Inertia!     Read More...

Mid-week Goldies

Jetty Ambassador Dave Werner escaped his classroom and found enough daylight to get a session in this past week!  Even the smaller shacks are fun when it is north of 50 degrees in January in New Jersey.  Check out the pure beauty captured by photog Dan Pryzgocki!   Read More...

Barreling into 2017

Pat Parenty became an official Jetty Crew member halfway through 2016 and has put in some serious work!  Here is one of the last days of December when Pat was finding tubes of all sorts of shapes and sizes...and of course Timmy Torchia was right there to capture it from the water!  We're looking forward to a full year of rad content from this duo! The Art of Balance

Balance is something that we have always stressed within our company.  We founded it based on working hard to facilitate opportunity, travel, and time to pursue the things that we love to do.  Jetty Ambassador Jamie Contreras seems to master the art both in and out of the water.  We hope that you find the perfect balance in your Jetty Life as we glide into the New Year!
