See A Spray, Send A Spray

Above: Ryan Leopold by Rick Leopold There are a lot of challenges out there keeping us active during the quarantine!  The #SeeASpraySendASpray has everyone stoked, plus it is fun to dig through old surf photos if you don't have a freshie.  Here are a few Jetty Ambassadors throwing serious spray just in the last week or so... The Bounty

Something often missed is the interaction between our Ambassadors.  This past Winter we captured too many familiar faces hunting waves up and down the East Coast.  Check out The Bounty, an ode to our roots in the crazy, fun, ever-changing landscape of the industry that gave us our start back in 2003.  Draw Your Own Line! Owen, a dredge and Bunger

Jetty Ambassador  Owen O'donnell recently checked out how some moving sand affected one of many NY breaks that he frequents.  Looks like it's all good if the photos (courtesy of @Halupics) from this session are any indication.  Meanwhile, Owen's home shop, Bunger (Babylon, NY), is making room for our new Spring '19 products!    Read More...

Big Waves Will Inspire You

Yes, it was pumping in New York last weekend!  Jetty Ambassador Owen O'Donnell linked up with photog Josh Goetz and got his share of bombs and barrels.  These are the days when you drop everything to paddle, hope you don't get rejected and really are just in search of that one great wave...all the rest are a frothing bonus! On the beach @ The Belmar PRO

This year's Belmar PRO is upon us and we'll be posted up on the beach on Saturday (9/8) and Sunday (9/9).  Swing by our tents for some gear or to meet our Ambassadors!  Competing this year from our crew are Dallas Tolson (NC), Owen O'Donnell (NY), Pete Machotka (NJ), Keaton Fortney (NJ), Logan Hayes (FL), Pat Parenty (NJ) and Randy Townsend (NJ)!  We can't forget Morgan Iglay  who will be competing in the Womens  open as well.  The track of Hurricane Florence is currently uncertain, but it looks like we're going to get some wave action (fingers crossed for no landfall... Avoiding Nor'easters

Above: Dallas Tolson trippin' with Team DVO There's been plenty of frothing over the four Nor'easters this season, but the stoke of a well-timed trip abroad is equitable.  Several Jetty Ambassadors are breaking in our new boardies which are scheduled to drop in just a couple of weeks.  Don't be jealous looking at these warm, tropical destinations...just Draw Your Own Line. The Life of Riley: Part III

Above: Owen O'Donnell drives into a bomb The size of Winter Storm Riley and the area that it impacted was the key factor in its production of epic surf.  Before we glorify the waves, our hearts go out to all who were negatively effected by the extreme winds, flooding and snowfall.  On the bright side, look at Jetty Ambassadors  Owen O'Donnell (NY) and Logan Hayes (FL) reaping the benefits... Dusting Off

Above: Blaine Walck with a B-day barrel / Photo: Meg August Anyone who has traveled through Central America knows that dusty feeling.  Although more and more roads are paved with each trip, there is still so much natural and raw beauty...and that includes the dirt and dust!  There's only one way to cleanse your skin (and soul) of said dust... Options Abroad

Aside from the jealousy factor at the desk, it's great to see our Ambassadors spreading their wings abroad!  First up, Sam Seeland (above, by Randall Cogar) was cruising below sea level in Central America.  Not too far across the border, Owen O'donnell has been bustin' lips.  Finally, Dennis O'connor recently returned from a dreamy trip across the pond.   Owen O'donnell by Fredo Barquero Dennis O'connor by Anthony Trufolo     Read More...

Snow Portals

Above: Owen O'donnell checking into a Jersey gem There is something special about that first seasonal surf, especially the sessions in the snow!  In colder regions like the Northeast, we all share that same chuckling response to the outsiders who proclaim, What do you mean you're going surfing?!  At the end of the day, getting tubed in freezing conditions certainly makes suiting up well worth it...!  A handful of seasonal joy by Sean Santiago Read More...

Some More Gert...

(Above) Pete Machotka (NJ) by Kyle Gronostajski Hurricane Gert was not the largest storm of the season, but it's path certainly provided for a slew of Jetty Ambassadors.  While Owen O'donnell, Pete Machotka, & Brian Bassett played on their home turf, Keaton Fortney was checking his big bro into Flagler College. Logan Hayes was also attempting his own eclipse down in Florida shortly after Gert made its way to the Northern Atlantic... Sunday Funday Anticipation?

Jetty Captain Randy Townsend is looking forward to some cold tubes this weekend!  The anticipation of approaching swell encases such a large range of forecasts from weather buffs to those who will simply get up and check it.  We can't predict what Mother Ocean will bring us this weekend, but we can show you how our Ambassadors enjoyed her gifts last weekend!  Photos courtesy of Chris Pfeil & Jordan Lutes (Above: Randy Townsend; Below: Owen O'donnell).   Read More...
