13th Annual Clam Jam

Wow, we can't believe that we've been running our annual Clam Jam surf contest for 13 years now!  This year, we're opening up another September weekend (2 total) with 4 potential early Fall days to run the event.  We're also dedicating this one to our main man Pat Harrington who is battling through Hodgkin's Lymphoma and some nasty chemo treatments that are going to keep him out of the water for a while.  Registration is now open, and we're seeking sponsorships as well.  Check out all of the details at JettyClamJam.com! ALO Longboard Classic

Our friends at the Alliance for a Living Ocean are proud to present their 10th Annual Longboard Classic!  These guys have run a stellar contest over the years which allows for the use of strictly vintage boards.  We're appreciative of all of the support the ALO provides to us in the form of water stations at our events (reducing plastic use) and assistance during our Stafford Eco-trip.  Cheers to supporting a nonprofit dedicated to our community and environment!    Read More...

11th Annual Clam Jam review

Above: Preparing for the first heat by Shawn Casey  This was a funky year with a long wait during the Clam Jam window, but it finally went down on Sunday, November 19th!  A nearly full bracket of (93) LBI Region surfers competed all day in surf that ranged from 2-6 ft with strong offshore winds.  At the end of the day, Randy Townsend & Evan Zodl defeated Billy Webster & Conor Willem in a very close final.  Some of the best surfers rose to the top in challenging conditions while newcomers enjoyed their first time Jam experiences.  Check out the Press...
