It's on! Clam Jam a go for 10/24/20!

Finally, we have some swell on a weekend, so our 14th Annual Clam Jam will run this Saturday, October 24th!  We may be dealing with some walled out waves, but the size and weather should make for an epic day at 68th Street in Brant Beach.  Surfers should report to the beach no later then 7am.  Food will be provided by the Tide Table Group and the K2 bar will be open.  Let's have a day for the LBI Region surf community! On the Stage: 11am-1pm The Fourth Son / 1pm-3pm The Danksters Photos of the 13th Annual (2019) Jetty... Read More...

Waves of the Future

Above: Photo courtesy of Ryan Mack It's pretty exciting to have a state of the art wave pool right here in our home state of New Jersey.  Jetty Ambassador Randy Townsend recently cashed in a ticket via Skudin Surf @ American Dream as a crew of East Coast all stars hit the pool.  We'd say that the Perect Swell technology made for a pretty damn good Saturday night in East Rutherford! The Cold War is ON!

Above: Randy Townsend by Michael Cassella Twenty of the best surfers around are going to dual it out tomorrow on Long Beach Island (NJ) when the Cold War goes down!  We're stoked to support Captain Randy Townsend and homeboy Conor Willem, who are both surfing on the same team.  Come check out the innovative format and the best surfing you'll see this month in our backyard, on the South end of LBI! Captain Sunday

Panetta & Hans hoist the Clam!

The 13th Annual Jetty Clam Jam went down, for the first time, in the month of September!  Underdogs Tanner Panetta & Tab Hans took down Billy Webster & Tim Raimo in the finals, surfing through some really tough, changing conditions.  An 80-degree beach day saw a huge crowd and outweighed the less favorable conditions, but all agreed that the surf was plenty contestable.  The more important part of the day was the charitable element with our community support of surfer Pat Harrington who is battling through Chemo and fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Pat has surfed in nearly all of the Jams, but... Read More...

Looking Ahead of Dorian

Above: Jetty Captain Randy Townsend by Dan Przygocki We saw so many tubes from Dorian in what some are calling the best hurricane-based swell Long Beach Island (NJ) has seen in 10 years, but at what cost?  Amongst the rampant stoke from last Saturday, we're being asked by our fans what they can do to support the Bahamas.  We have a great list of current charitable initiatives (below), so if you are interested in helping our fellow Bahamians recover, then we are suggesting the following two avenues for donations.  Both W4W and Team Rubicon are trusted nonprofits with boots on... Water Based Bros

If you've printed with Jetty Ink, or plan to soon, then chances are you know or will meet two of our outstanding staffers, Bill McLennan & Dan Przygocki!  The fact is that these guys surf more than most, and find the flexibility to do so before, during and after work at our Eco-friendly HQ in Manahawkin, NJ.  Photog Michael Bruno caught these guys clowning around at the 2019 ALO Longboard Classic, one of the great East Coast surf contests put on by our equally conscious friends!  Cheers to making work fun, and clearing the mind with a paddle!  #OutThere Read More...

Dan P. is Out There!

It is a pleasure to have the multi-talented Dan Przygocki in our HQ on a weekly basis!  Dan works production for Jetty Ink, but when the waves turn up, then we turn him loose.  This past week proved to produce some very pretty photos from the lens of a guy who is not afraid to get out there in the middle of Winter! Ogre & J-Law hoist the Clam!

Above: New names on the trophy by Dan Przygocki After a Nor'easter blew through the coast, the 12th Annual Jetty Clam Jam finally went down on Sunday, October 28th!  The Jam was held at 68th Street in Brant Beach for the first time and naysayers were put to shame by 4-6ft+ hollow waves that pumped from dawn to dusk.  An epic final pitted Steve Carpitella & Josh Law against Jamie Whitesell & Jetty Ambassador Pete Machotka.  J-law instantly scratched through a front side barrel and landed a monstrous floater to open up the heat.  Machotka countered with a big back... Staff Stoke

Above: Anthony Hediger by Alex Thompson We're stoked that our staff scored a bunch of waves this past Friday!  If you've stopped through our HQ, printed with Jetty Ink and/or have been to one of our events, then chances are you've chatted with Anthony Hediger, our Flagship Store manager.  Ant handles a ton of stuff for us and is one of our main dudes!  Dan Przygocki, from our Jetty Ink production crew, also got out there.  Let's set the record straight with pronouncing his last name...SHUH-GUS-KEY!  In other tubes, we have Brian Aji (our '18 Summer Urchin/Intern) and Sean Santiago (contract videographer)! ... Coquina Jam raises $15K+

This past Sunday turned out to be the perfect day to run our 10th Annual Jetty Coquina Jam!  A record crowd packed 68th Street in the Brant Beach section of Long Beach Township to watch (48) females ranging from ages 10 to 65 compete for the trophy.  Of course, we were there not only to celebrate female surfing, but to raise funds for female Cancer patients in need.  Thanks to all of your patronage, as well as regional business sponsorship, we just cut a check for $15,085.94 to David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation.  They will immediately turn those funds around...
