#GivingTuesdayNow

Today marks the first Giving Tuesday Now which is a global effort in response to COVID-19!  Whether you have been a fan of Jetty since the early 2000's, or have recently been introduced to our brand, then you likely know that charity and community are core to our DNA.  We formed our Jetty Rock Foundation in the wake of Superstorm Sandy and have continued to use our company as a vehicle to do good!  Achieving B-Corp status was a feather in our cap, but the actual execution of donations and attention to our environment are the two items that drive us... Earth Day 2020

On the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, has it ever been more evident that we hold the keys to better our environment?  We have always been an eco-conscious brand, but in full transparency, what we were working on before COVID-19 was a plan which called for more sustainability.  Thankfully, we have a decent head start with sound practices in our own production facility at Jetty Ink, attention to detail along the rest of our supply chain and a growing Oyster Recycling Program.  We're proud of what we accomplish day in and day out, but we know that we can always... Let's Shell-a-brate!

Saturday, October 12, 2019 marks the date of our 2nd Annual LBT Shellabration!  This event is a fundraiser for our Oyster Recycling Program which allows us to collect used shell and get it back into the Barnegat Bay.  Long Beach Township, Parson's Seafood / Mariculture and Stockton Marine Science have been tremendous partners in building this LBI Region-based initiative.  Putting shell back into the Bay increases the chance of natural set and has many additional uses which all promote a better environment both in and out of the water ~ come eat, drink, slurp and learn more! A Hopped Up Crowd

We couldn't have asked for better vibes and weather for our 6th Annual HopSauce Festival last weekend!  There is a lot to clean up and organize, but we've already made a $5,000 donation to the Borough of Beach Haven for parks and beautification, plus we'll be making a larger donation to our Oyster Recycling Program!  The beer was cold, the sauces were hot and there was plenty of delicious food to pair with them both while soaking up the tunes of Mercy Union, The Black Flamingos, Pine Barons, RFA , Jason Booth and The Pickles!  Major shout out to all... Arctic Donations: $40K+

Our 4th Annual Arctic Outreach event once again fended off the threat of weather and will produce in excess of $40,000 in donations!  It was a cold one, but attendance was up and the LBI Region community braved just-above-freezing temps to support our Jetty Rock Foundation.  We'll be donating to the children of Mallory McBrien (who the event runs in loving memory of), 3-4 other families in need and our Oyster Recycling Program!  Thank you to all of our sponsors for another feel good, successful day, especially: Tide Table Group, Reynold's Landscaping, Rustic Drift & Equity Prime. Of Arctic Proportions!

We're just about 2 weeks away from our first event of the year, Arctic Outreach!  We take a lot of pride in helping to run Arctic Outreach and your support allows it to be one of many successful fundraisers for our Jetty Rock Foundation throughout the year.  Here are a few answers to questions that we've been getting... Why do you run an outdoor event in February?  Arctic Outreach was put together within a few weeks back in 2016 for a family that is near and dear to us.  Braving the elements shows our togetherness as a community.  There are... Oyster Shellabration

We know that there is plenty to do between now and October 6th, but mark your calendars for a new event, our Oyster Shellabration!  All proceeds from this event will benefit our Oyster Recycling Program!  Our partnership with Long Beach Township, Stockton University and Parsons Mariculture has made quite a splash since we initiated the program during the Summer of 2017.  Join us for more education on why we're putting oysters back into the Barnegat Bay, and of course plenty of food, oysters, beer, cider, wine, culture vendors, shucking and music!  This is a family-friendly, fundraising event (21+ to drink).... Certified B Corp Status

(Above: Our Oyster Recycling Program is just one of many initiatives that gives back) We're proud to announce that we are a Certified B Corporation!  B Corp status is a relatively new designation, but we're positive that you are going to see the logo pop up more and more as you invest your resources into businesses that are socially and environmentally responsible.  Although we were already committed to many charitable and community initiatives, now we're officially held accountable to continue running Jetty in this manner.  Check out our Press Release on Shop - Eat - Surf and a recent article by Transworld...
