We're stoked to announce a new event that we are running on April 27th, Paws for a Cause!  Join us and Live with Purpose (a partnering nonprofit) for a legit 5K with an additional doggie twist.  Since we've introduced our dog product capsule, and used it as an example to educate our Future Leaders in Southern Regional's Entrepreneurship elective class, we thought it would be great to create a fundraiser with a targeted cause.  That cause is to find a family in our region in need of a service dog!  Paw Your Own Line with us on April 27th and check... We finally executed some rad dog accessories so our furry friends can Paw their Own Line!  We are using this limited edition line as the basis for our Future Leaders Entrepreneurship program (one of our Jetty Rock Foundation initiatives) so students have assisted in all aspects ranging from design to marketing to sales.  We'll continue to work with the students regarding printed dog accessories, inventory, direct sales and a Spring charitable event!  In the meantime, these goods are perfect stocking stuffers for dog-lovers ~ grab some while supplies last...and thanks to our dog model Miss Bindi Roo!      ... Every year we garner 1000+ people to walk from Manahwkin, over the causeway bridge, to Ship Bottom in support of our area schools!  Last year we were able to contribute $1,200 to All Saints, Stafford, Beach Haven, LBI Consolidated & Southern Regional for a grand total of $6,000!  A $10 donation allows you to walk.  We are also offering sponsorships as well as selling T-shirts.  Major support from the Causeway family of dealerships, Van Dyk & Tide Table Group is what makes this event so successful!  Check out our event page, participate and you can pick up your shirts /... A few nights before our 5th Annual Hop Sauce Festival, we had to switch gears and present $5,000 in scholarships at Southern Regional High School!  We were a part of what is simply an awesome night and the numbers are staggering: $611,000+ in the form of 1,015 scholarships distributed to 300+ seniors!  Our awards are born of two Jetty Rock Foundation initiatives: The Future Leaders program and the Bridge Walk.  We're stoked to continue growing our impact on the youth, not only in our immediate community, but throughout the entire community of those who are passionate about philanthropy, business and... We're meeting with our Future Leaders this morning, specifically about marketing!  These Southern Regional business students have been in a heated battle to see which group (Smooth Sailing vs. Drop Anchor) can sell more gear.  Eventually, they will make decisions to donate proceeds from their sales to a charitable cause pertinent to our Jetty Rock Foundation's mission.  We're proud to announce that both groups have sold enough already to warrant a second phase of printing, and when you reprint & restock it usually means that your sales and marketing efforts are in line! Earlier this week we helped execute the Stafford Intermediate School Eco-trip for the 3rd straight year!  This initiative brings 300+ 6th graders to the Barnegat Light State Park to learn about our environment.  We had some great volunteer help from MATES Academy and the Alliance for a Living Ocean.  We also linked up with Speakeasy Pizzeria to make sure all of the students had lunch!  This donation was made possible by the Jetty Rock Foundation and your direct support of our events such as Hop Sauce Festival! Last week we kicked off our Future Leaders program at Southern Regional High School!  We're stoked moving into year #2 of helping to educate students in Southern's Entrepreneurship elective class on small business through a hands-on approach.  The students form groups, pick a charity within the school, create products, and then print, market, and sell them.  A $10,000 donation via our Jetty Rock Foundation  allows the students to work with a real budget and the proceeds from the garment sales are directed to the charities of their choice!
