Oystex by Jetty

We are stoked to introduce our new Oystex fabric coming AUGUST 2020!  We’ve taken our commitment to clean waterways to the next level by developing an innovative material that combines ground up oyster shells with recycled polyester to create a soft, breathable fabric without limiting stretch, durability or comfort. Oystex boasts anti-odor, anti-static, and insulating properties and diverts two different materials from the waste stream, lessening the ecological impact of each Oystex offering. ⠀⠀From the coast. For the coast. COMING AUGUST 2020! #OystexByJetty ⠀ Read More...

Earth Day 2020

On the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, has it ever been more evident that we hold the keys to better our environment?  We have always been an eco-conscious brand, but in full transparency, what we were working on before COVID-19 was a plan which called for more sustainability.  Thankfully, we have a decent head start with sound practices in our own production facility at Jetty Ink, attention to detail along the rest of our supply chain and a growing Oyster Recycling Program.  We're proud of what we accomplish day in and day out, but we know that we can always... Plastic Bag Bans

Above: Photo Ryan Morrill courtesy The SandPaper We're proud to announce that much of our birthplace and stomping grounds will be plastic bag free in 2018!  Long Beach Township once again started an important trend by being the first municipality in the LBI Region to ban single use plastic bags (5/1/18).  LBT was also the first to initiate oyster shell recycling last year and has been an important partner.  Harvey Cedars (as of 6/1/18) & Stafford Twp. (pending approval) have followed suit with this important step in protecting our environment.  We'll be producing some reusable Jetty totes this Summer to support the movement!... Read More...
