The 3rd Annual Jetty Coquina Jam will take place on Sunday, August 7th @ 8am at 110th Street in Long Beach Township, NJ. Teams of 2 females will compete in this bracket style event for the Coquina Jam Trophy! The contest has been filled with 32, female surfers, but you can still volunteer, sign up as an alternate, and/or make a donation toward the cause! This event benefits breast cancer and all proceeds will be donated to David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation (DD&BCF). This 501(C)(3) organization will in turn seek out and aid a breast cancer survivor in need! On the beach, aside from 32 wonderful women competing in the surf, we will have Clams on the 1/2 Shell, Pizza & Garlic Knots, Vitamin Water, Wax, Coquina T-shirts & Bags and more available for sale...all for the cause! We will also be giving away a 6'10" Custom Surfboard shaped by Brian Wynn - you can make a donation now through our Online Store or you can donate on the beach! Any donation of $25 or more gets you a chance to win the surfboard! Please remember that this event depends on waves/weather and we will inform everyone if we are forced to use any of the no wave/bad weather dates (8/20, 8/21, 8/27 or 8/28).
