"That Life" by Unknown Mortal Orchestra

After dropping the single Weekend Run earlier this Summer, Unknown Mortal Orchestra has followed it up with another one entitled That Life.  The song, inspired by a painting with "a mixture of crazy stuff going on, representing heaven, earth, and hell", throws a lot of good, band and in between at you, but hey, that's life!  Hopefully, we are driving toward a new album from the New Zealand-based outfit as it has been a few years since their last full-length release. Announcing 1 of 2 female-led bands that will be playing our 13th Annual Coquina Jam - The Vaughns!  Check out their track, All Weekend from their 2021 release called, "rom-coms + take-out".  Interestingly enough, the lyrics were written on tour during 2020 to portray the feeling of needing some time at home to breathe, but were later adjusted with regard to no longer wanting to be stuck at home during quarantine.  Their wish has come true and on July 25th we're really looking forward to hearing The Vaughns live, outside and on the beach at our event (Noon - 1pm set)! "Threat Level Midnight" by The Network

The Network just performed Threat Level Midnight on The Tonight Show with their first new album out in 17 years!  Is The Network really just a secret side project of Green Day?  We don't know, and we're sick of reading conflicting opinions, but we do love the music as well as the song title tribute to The Office!  Uncertainty is a fit for these times that we're living in, so just turn up the volume and let it go!    Read More...
