Brain Games

In March of 2009, our friend Joey Ferringo was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. On May 15, 2009 it was successfully removed at the University of Pennsylvania. Those who have patronized Tuckers in Beach Haven, NJ know Joey as an outgoing, polite and extremely funny guy…he has been the bar manager there since it’s inception in 1992! Since he was unable to work during the entire Summer of 2009, we decided to run our annual benefit in his name and were able to raise over $10K to make up for lost wages. Joe is currently in good health and recently took a new position managing Kubel’s in Barnegat Light, NJ on the opposite side of Long Beach Island (LBI)!
