Our Sandy Relief efforts have changed and overlapped over the past 5 months with some of the more recent focus being on marketing for our region. The Long Beach Island region is open for business and ready for Summer 2013! Please share this video created by A.D. Pictures and powered by The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce with your friends and family! We are very thankful and supportive of all of the local efforts (Chamber, Non-profits, Municipalities, Groups, etc.) who have stepped up to re-establish our Long Beach Island region as a bigger and better tourist destination!
On Saturday, January 26, 2013 we held our first fundraising event of the year at The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences. We had an outpouring amount of support and were able to donate $12,394.94 to Waves For Water! Check out Jetty Hall of Fam’r Matt Higgins edit of our Surf Team trip to Costa Rica! Jetty Team Riders Randy Townsend, Brian Bowker & Christian Moscufo joined us down South during December 2012 for some super fun waves and travel. We want to also give a special shout out to Angie & Dixon Pearce who donated their beautiful house at our Crabbin’ for a Cure fundraiser in 2011 ~ our winning bid at the charitable event finally came to fruition last month!
