Much respect is due to one of our three original retailers, Surf Unlimited. SU took on Sandy head-to-head and was the first surf shop to reopen on Long Beach Island, NJ thereafter. From being a part of our young surfing years, through an ownership transition and surviving a 100 year storm, this long standing stockist of ours is still Keepin’ It Core! They have a full section of Jetty Spring/Summer 2013 gear so be sure to stop by and like them on Facebook as well!

Bare Wires Surf & Skate is a Jetty retailer in Spring Lake, NJ which has been on board for a handful of years now. They recently moved a few doors down to a bigger space meaning they’ll have more room to pump out more, core product! In the wake of Hurricane Sandy many barrier island retailers were forced to pick up and relocate. In the Shack Board Shop’s case, an extension of Surf Shack South, their new Manahawkin, NJ-based location will give them a mainland base for a permanent, year-round and full-service skate shop. It’s been far too long that the Manahawkin area has not had any kind of skate shop and these guys want to help foster a thriving skate community again by offering the best hard goods, apparel, and accessories while hosting premieres, skate events, and the like. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so while the Farias’ clean up their five damaged LBI properties, they’ve opened a retail location in Manahawkin! We helped our favorite retailer get some marketing materials designed and posted, then stocked them with Fall/Winter gear (and Hurricane Sandy T’s)! Please support our LBI-area economy by shopping local throughout the holiday season!

REAL Watersports brought Jetty product in store this past Spring and it has truly been a pleasure to deal with them! Since 1998, REAL’s home-base in Waves, NC has catered to those who like to kiteboard, surf, standup paddleboard or just to enjoy the beach! Their awesome compound includes a flagship store, lesson center and rental shop and they’ve taught nearly 40,000 students how to kiteboard over the past 14 years. Recognized on an International level, this is place is a must visit for any board rider passing through Cape Hatteras!

Surf Shack South is technically one of three original Jetty retailers! The original Surf Shack, which you can read about here, had an 11-year legacy in the post-Body Language era on Long Beach Island, NJ. During the end of that legacy, Donny Miller broke away, formed Surf Shack South in Beach Haven, NJ and has really developed a niche for Skimboarding & Skateboarding. The Shack has also just opened a separate location (which backs up to the existing store) specializing strictly in watches and sunglasses. These guys also support current Jetty Team Riders Pete Machotka, Dane Nugent & Ronnie Kessner. After dealing with the Shack since our brand’s inception, we’re stoked to see where they’ve taken things and that they are currently, fully stocked with brand new SS12 Jetty gear! One of the most recent Jetty stockists who came on board near the end of 2011 is Cinnamon Rainbows. Fittingly, this core surf shop in Hampton, NH ordered a bunch of our Hipsta 12″ Beanies which are surely helping people get through the bitter Northeast Winter!
