The Urchin Life: Episode 1
Head Jetty Urchin Kevin Rauen & Jetty Ink employee Tony Coon created The Urchin Life, a video series that will explore Jetty from the inside out. The camera will follow our 9 summer interns (Jetty Urchins) as they work both inside and outside of the Jetty warehouse tackling tasks dealing with everything from production to marketing. In Volume 1, Kev & Tone decided to interview myself & Cory Higgins, the operating co-owners of Jetty. We hope the back-story of how our brand began serves as an interesting start to The Urchin Life series. Future episodes will certainly entertain as our Urchins, employees, team riders and extended family create and live The Jetty Life!

You guys have been a huge inspiration for me and my own brand since the beginning.. and this is the coolest thing I’ve seen so far! I walked into the Hamilton Mall yesterday to go to Verizon. I don’t go there to shop anymore since Center City Sports closed down, that was our local shop. I remember way back that was the spot to cop the freshest Jetty gear. It eventually got pushed out by Pac Sun, Tilly’s, and Zumiez. Needless to say, I walked into the mall yesterday and saw Jetty right in the window! I normally boycott the stores, not because they aren’t dope, but because someone has to take initiative to not fall into awesome sales and support the local shops. But yesterday I ran into the store and asked the cashier when they got all the Jetty gear in.. I expected her to have some stupid response like ‘I dunoo’ or ‘Who??’ but she actually was able to have a conversation about you guys and what stores had picked you up, and even gave me a free sticker! While I still won’t be able to support you in Zumiez.. just know that Jersey’s got your back.
